NHS Alliance Annual Conference

16 October 2008 - 17 October 2008

This year we will be in Bournemouth exhibiting at the NHS Alliance Annual Conference, which is attended by commissioners and other health care professionals. We will use this opportunity to update stakeholders on our first ever epidemiological study for eye conditions, which will be published later this year.

The National Eye Health Model has been developed by leading experts at the Public Health Action Support Team (PHAST) at Imperial College London. This ground breaking reseach identifies need for eye care services including low vision, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration and cataracts by local area. This tool will provide valuable information for all those involved in commissioning and developing local services for patients.
